Celebrating local flora for a good cause this Saturday Cape Recife Conservancy’s Indigenous Plant Sale at Pine Lodge Resort
Spring has sprung and Pine Lodge Resort and Conference Centre is proud to once again be hosting the annual Cape Recife Conservancy (CRC) Indigenous Plant Sale on Saturday, 22nd September 2018 from 8am to 1pm.
Celebrating the beauty and diversity of our colourful local flora, the aim of the day is to raise funds for the Conservancy by selling indigenous plant varieties at very affordable prices.
Over 44 species will be on offer including many local favourites such as:
African Daisy varieties (Gazania, Osteospermum)
Yellow wood saplings
With so many beautiful local plants to choose from for little more than wholesale prices, it’s sure to be a great day out for garden lovers. Pine Lodge’s sea views, jungle gyms, local coffee shop (Cappa Café) and restaurant (Ziggy’s) ensure fun for the rest of the family, too.
One hundred percent of proceeds from the Plant Sale go towards the upkeep and ongoing management of the Cape Recife Conservancy. The Conservancy is a collaboration by like-minded property owners in and around the Nature Reserve who have committed to environmentally friendly land-use practices and pooled their resources in order to conserve resident flora and fauna and keep the area safe and secure.
